Dorothy Rogers Tilly, church and civil rights worker, was born 30 June 1883, in Hampton, Georgia, and died 16 March 1970, in Atlanta, Georgia. She graduated from Wesleyan College, Macon, Georgia (A.B., 1901), married Milton Eben Tilly (1903), and lived most of her life in Altanta, Georgia.
